"Perhaps travel cannot prevent bigotry, but by demonstrating that all peoples cry, laugh, eat, worry, and die, it can introduce the idea that if we try and understand each other, we may even become friends."
(Maya Angelou)Today this planet lost one of its greats, Maya Angelou. A woman of beauty, grace and wisdom. A woman of faith and knowing. I never had the opportunity to meet Maya but there is a part of me that feels as if I had. Her warmth and strength of character had a way of emanating beyond time and space. There is no doubt she has left her mark on this world and has made us better people for it. Thank you, Maya Angelou. You are my hero in so many ways. Thank you.
