This is a short segment I did with Alessandro Sigismondi and Dharma Bums last year simply called "My Dharma" a documentary. I'll post the full documentary soon! For some reason I never go around to posting here, but I guess it is better late than never!

Ashtanga Yoga Third Series Demonstration
6.1.17
Here's a recent Ashtanga Yoga Advanced A (3rd Series) demonstration I did at Purple Valley Retreat Center in Goa, India. We shot it straight through so there are even a few mistakes. I simply did a practice as I would on any given day. So in that light, it is what it is.
A practice.
A practice.
Ashtanga Yoga and Backbending
12.5.16
Yes folks this is a long video, so make some tea and get comfortable. Backbending is a topic that takes time to go into and in many ways I am still figuring it out and learning to expand my awareness inside poses that I have found to be most challenging in the practice. Enjoy.
Today I Rise
25.3.16
Today I Rise
When I'm tired of all the things around me in my life, I rise
When only the negative aura surrounds me and tries to put me down, I rise
When there's no one there for me even on the worst days, I rise
When there are bullies at school talking bad about me, I rise
When I've lost the family and people I love, I rise
When I am trying to reach my goal in my life and I fail at times, I rise
When I got fake friends, they lie to me and put me down, I rise
When I'm struggling with my family with the bills and our expenses, I rise
When I hear fighting, cussing, swearing cursing at home, I rise
When I'm heartbroken from a love, I rise
When there are traumatic things that happen to me, I rise
When I get abandoned by people who I thought loved me, I rise
When there are no good influence and only evil around me, I rise
When I'm on the street with no food or shelter, I rise
When I'm in a life or death situation, I rise
When someone I love has a chronic disease I stay strong for them and I rise
When the devil tries to put me down in the worst possible ways, I rise
I rise and stay strong because God helps me rise!!
Are you strong enough to rise?

Rebel Path with PJ Herffernan
6.8.15
I've always appreciated PJ and have been lucky to get to know him over the years during travels to Mysore, India. Hard working and so real, I hope you enjoy this video as much as I have.
Blind Devotion. Love in Action

The sweetest thing ever. Love in action.
Geometries - Ashtanga Yoga Demostration
8.4.15
My friend Alessandro Sigismondi and I filmed the above demonstration in the building where my boyfriend works. It definitely has a different feel to it. The atmosphere is a bit cold and stark, but all the elements work in a way that give a slight melancholy feel. A state I feel from time to time.
Transition Out of Utkatasana
11.1.15
Here's a short little video I did for Stu Girling of Love Yoga Anatomy demonstrating two transitions out of utkatasana in the Ashtanga yoga practice. He's a body worker and yoga teacher offering many tips and tricks from various teachers on his informative website as well as interviews, along with a gathering of many resources. Check it out. Why Do We Gossip?

Why do we gossip? A good question to contemplate.
Ashtanga Yoga Demonstration, Part 2
15.5.14
Here is the last video we produced while in Mysore, India last winter. We decided to have a little fun and use music that was more up beat in tempo and rhythm. Unexpected. Yes, the practice is an internal often silent quest but here I simply express the celebratory nature of practice. Enjoy.
Ashtanga Yoga Demo Video Filmed in Mysore, India
3.2.14
I had the pleasure of shooting this video during my two month trip to Mysore, India with videographer, Alessandro Sigismondi. We had such a good time and gathered so much material we made four separate videos. I'll be posting the others later. Looking back, this was such a fun experience not necessarily for the end product but for the process it took. There were a few laughs and moments I will never forget. It was an act of creation and expression of the beautiful unfoldment Ashtanga yoga reveals after many years of sustained practice. Through it all it represents my love and honor for this transformative method and the gratitude I am reminded of every day I step on to my mat. I also thank all of you who have followed me through the years on this blog. It is hard to believe already 7 years have passed since its inception. Thank you, thank you!
